I am about to apply a set of decals to my motorcycle. Does anyone have any tips on how to do this properly?

How is the application process done properly, and what is the best way to make it look great? Thanks!

A clean surface is important but soap and water can leave a film which can cause a sticker to peel off in a few months instead of years. Clean the area with a lint free cloth an de-natured alcohol. Then apply the decal.
