Chocolate Cream Recipe courtesy Brûlée Cat Cora Show: Episode Cooking Done: Couple's Kitchen Cook 1 1 / 4 cups heavy cream 1 vanilla 4 oz dark chocolate, chopped 4 egg yolks 1 tablespoon sugar 4 to 6 tablespoons sugar, for garnish Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Combine the cream and vanilla in a water bath. Heat the mixture for 10 to 15 minutes and stir in chocolate. Remove vanilla. Beat the egg yolks and sugar in a bowl. Slowly pour the cream into the chocolate mixture eggs, whisking continuously. Place bowl over boiling water until mixture thickens and coats of cream on the back of a spoon, 6 to 8 minutes. Pour into 4 (4 ounces cream dishes. Place in a deep dish and add enough water to reach halfway at the sides of the bowl. Cook until the cream is set, about 1 hour. Remove from water and cool. Cover and refrigerate. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon sugar on top of each and with a torch Brûlée, caramelized the top and serve.
